The Science of Prophecy

The Planets

The Planets represent different energies, and the signs are the different ways of expressing those energies.

The New Year of 2008 brings requires that we deal with the practical consequences of all the releases we experienced in December ’07.  Mid-January, we will be feeling disconnected from everyone, so as that occurs, the best solution to such dis-ease is to do something for someone else and give your attention to them.  This will be a time to lend a helping hand or give a kind word to a stranger.  Show your versatility, and de-clutter your house.  Remember—a new house is a new you!

February, our month of Love can be really great for people who normally have rather unpleasant Valentine’s Days.  Mercury retrograde will help non-communicative people to step up and finally get what all the ads around them are shouting—that flowers, chocolate, cards and gems ARE indeed an important message that you need to send your beloved to let them know they are valued by you.  It’s the same principle, really, as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, only it’s for your novio or novia.  (Boyfriend/girlfriend)

Mercury is retrograde from January 27 to February 17, and when Mercury acts in reversal, talks shut up and the silent finally find their tongue.  Also, it’s a good time to ask questions from those people who are normally very uncommunicative.  Other than that, there may be a problem with communicational devices like TVs and computers, and don’t mail anything during that 3 weeks, because it may get lost.

As for the rest of February, we are going to experience a level of disconnection from others for both February and March.  We may feel alone in a crowd and as though nobody cares, and nobody’s calling—or if they are, it’s intermittent.  On the positive side, people will be busy, busy, busy.  So, my advice is, if you feel alone or lonely or disconnected from loved ones, do a good work for a stranger or go volunteer to help those less fortunate than yourself.  That way, you won’t hurt if you never hear from that person again, but you will feel good for having done a good deed.  If you don’t have time to volunteer, just start doing random acts of kindness, like handing out dollars to strangers, paying for a stranger’s toll or coffee, or giving treats or flowers to forgotten service people who don’t get tips, like bank tellers or grocery store clerks.  See how many days you can keep it up!  It’s fun!

March may be a month for confessionals and revolutions.  Loved ones who were MIA in February and during Valentine’s Day will lay their troubles on you early in the month, so get ready!  The first week of March will bring the loss of someone beloved by the world.  It’s not Britney, and it’s not George, so we’ll leave it at that.  Astrology isn’t a psychic science but it is predictive.  This person will probably be someone much loved in the states, and we’ll be sad, because we didn’t see it coming.  Communications with loved ones will get difficult by month’s end, and as we approach tax time, old ways will battle the new.  Patience, my friends!  It’s hard for old masters to hand over the reins to the youngun’s, and some don’t trust the new technologies.  Certain ones may rebel at month’s end and head for the hills.  Blow them a kiss and wish them well!

By the time April arrives, you may already feel the fool, since you may still be reeling from an unexpected message from a loved one.  We’re feel the burden of responsibility and aren’t sure we want it.  But Spring comes in like a prancing Ram, so we are optimistic anyway.  You just have to let the toddler walk even if they stand and fall.  Eventually, they learn from falling.  April will be about breaking from tradition, and all seems to be going well till month’s end when a difficult message comes that throws a wrench in the works.  It’s okay, folks!  You’re supposed to hang loose till August anyway, so don’t get frustrated if plans go awry.  Just use this as a last opportunity to explore where you are and plan, bank, and talk turkey.  Then in August, it’s onward and upward!!!

Expect May 26 through June 19 to be a volatile Mercury retrograde.  That means there will be spats that mean nothing—or issues will pop out that you never knew were a problem until they do!!!  The good news is that relationships grow through tough times, and you get closer to the beloved by crises.  So when you are feeling love is a burden, remember that, yes, it is, and think about things like make-up sex and what really makes love worthwhile.  Hard times bring intimacy, and THAT is what life is all about.  Unconditional love is divine.

2008 will bring the planet of healing and pain (heal your pain!) and the spiritual planet the closest they’ve been, in March and April.  Some folks feelin’ the hurt will turn to drugs and alcohol to soothe themselves, but the goal here is to heal oneself by turning to spirit.  Others will be asking themselves, why is my life like this?  The beginning of 2008 with its major pile up of planets in Aquarius have already made people feel lonely, disconnected, and confused, so when they leave those two to tango, we will have our share of conversions, miraculous healings, and over-doers feeling no pain.

While March and April brings endings,  April will also activate opportunity.  Meanwhile, the pressure to control the excesses, both psychic and physical, of the earlier months, will bum some folks out, but this is all about getting disciplined—practice makes perfect, remember?

But people can only hold back their impulses for so long, whether they be intuitive or habitual, so expect the pressure to build in June and folks to fall off the wagon.  The hurt and the pressure of holding back and probably the confusion too will cause a sudden explosion.  This can only be saved by a serious talk mid-to late August with your soulmate and maybe it’s time to pop the question.  Is it?  September will verify that either it’s time for the relationship to grow or it’s time for a split.  That’s probably not going to be a hard decision to make since relationship is in the air in September.  But by October, old problems surface, and a separation still ensues.  Y’all have been living with constant “damage control”, and that’s the problem.  Pressure is not good for relationships.

The rest of the year is going to be touch and go for everybody, as every day will threaten upheaval and unexpected events which everyone will try to control.  This untenable situation is going to continue into 2009, and wait for the resulting explosion in April.  No April Fool’s present then!  The good news then is that true spiritual healing and awakening will occur as a result.  We prepare for this throughout 2008, so that we can be ready to face the music in 2009.

BBC, 03/15/2004 ASTRONOMERS DISCOVER NEW PLANET
Sedna is currently about 13 billion km from Earth. Astronomers have detected what could be the Solar System's 10th planet. It was first seen by astronomers using California's Palomar Observatory, and has been given the name "Sedna" after the Inuit goddess of the ocean. Observations show it measures about 1,180-2,360km (730-1,470 miles) across, making it similar in size to Pluto. Astronomers now say they have evidence that Sedna has its own moon, although this needs to be confirmed, and is also very red in colour. There is likely to be some debate about whether it qualifies as a true planet, but some scientists are already saying it re-defines our Solar System.

03/07/2006 MYANMAR ASTROLOGERS STORMING AHEAD

Local astrologers will compare predictions and storm data. Astrologers in Myanmar hope to be able to forecast storms and earthquakes by observing the stars and planets, a national newspaper has reported. A group of local astrologers is comparing their 2006 storm predictions with data from the meteorology department. If their predictions are proven true, the astrologers plan to include storm forecasts in future annual astrological calendars. "It is important work for us because it will help keep people away from natural disasters and will prove the accuracy of astrological predictions," Than Htay, vice president of the Myanmar Astrology Research Bureau, told the Myanmar Times. The research bureau - the only astrological organisation recognised by the country's government - will work by studying the position of stars, moon and planets in areas hit by storms and earthquakes in the past.

Superstitious nation
Than Htay said that weather forecasts using modern science are accurate for predicting when a quake will occur, but only astrology can predict where exactly it will be. However, Tun Lwin, associate director general of the meteorology department, said his staff would not help with the research itself "because we are using science". Instead, he added, the astrologers would use only their own traditional methods. Many people in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, are superstitious and seek advice from fortune tellers and astrologers. It is alleged that the Burmese military government's surprise decision to move the country's capital from Rangoon to Pyinmana may have been partly based on advice from astrologers.
